Solution for too high COF complain

COF control of laminated roll film is important for automatic packaging processing. What we can do if the COF is higher than limit after aging?

Following is a remedy method for your reference.

-Slip agent: erucamide

• Erucamide is one of popular slip agents and used in film making.
• It can't solve in water, but can solve in EA solvent well.

• Solve 300-350 g erucamide into 50-80kgs EA solvent
• coating it onto heat sealing side through dry laminator
• coating cylinder can be 200-250 LPI
• Drying tunnel temperature can be 40-50 degree. air inlet and exhaust are opened totally, don't use recycle air.

- Low COF Solvent free adhesive

• The important thing we should do is controlling COF at the beginning
• SL817A+SL817B -- Solvent Free adhesive with low COF after lamination and aging.
• keep the COF low to 0.2 for 20u PE film lamination
